Discover Surin Island on this full-day speedboat snorkeling trip from Khao Lak, Phang Nga. Surin Island National Park is known as one of the best snorkeling sites in the Andaman Sea, with clear water, coral reefs and colorful fish, and this day trip is planned around three snorkeling stops.
Your Surin Island tour starts at 08:00 at Seastar’s private pier at Namkhem Marina, where the team welcomes you on board, checks you in and hands out snorkeling equipment, with hot drinks and bakery served. A speedboat then takes you to Surin Island National Park, with the boat ride from Namkhem pier to the island taking about 1 hour 30 minutes.
At the park you snorkel at Chong Kad Channel, visit the Moken village where the sea gypsies live in the north Andaman Sea, enjoy a buffet lunch at the national park restaurant, then snorkel at Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay and at Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay to see the coral and fish.
The trip returns to the pier at about 17:00 with drinks, snacks, papaya salad, fried chicken and ice cream, followed by the transfer back to your hotel. Snorkeling equipment, three meals, drinks, fruit, a local guide, round-trip transfer, the national park fee and insurance are included.
